Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening is offered to all men during the year they turn 65.  The AAA screening checks if there is a bulge or swelling (an aneurysm) in the aorta, which is the main blood vessel that runs from your heart through your tummy (abdomen). 

🩻Aneurysms do not cause any signs or symptoms, so you would not know that you had one.

✔️It is important to spot any bulge or swelling early to prevent rupture which is a medical emergency.
