💊The Antibiotic Guardian 💊
💊The Antibiotic Guardian 💊team wanted to make you aware of a unique and exciting opportunity to potentially contribute to a billboard campaign at Piccadilly Circus London being led by the Fleming Initiative that builds on their success from their Times Square “every 11 seconds” billboard at UNGA in New York last year.
This time the new public facing campaign to be showcased on the giant screen at Piccadilly Circus on the 18th November for World Antimicrobial Awareness Week, aims to be more interactive encouraging global public engagement by inviting people to submit a photograph and story of how antibiotics helped them or their families, across one of 4 categories:
• Safe childbirth
• Safe surgery
• Cancer treatment
• Treatment of infection
Chosen images with the name and country of the originator, will feature on the billboard, along with those of other contributors. They would like to see as many countries as possible represented across each of the 4 categories
Submissions can be made here- please submit before 12.10.2025
https://www.fleminginitiative.org/thank-you-antibiotics.
They are asking everyone to not only submit their own photograph and story, but to encourage others in their personal, professional and social media networks to do the same.
Please distribute this message and the associated social media announcements on X and LinkedIn, which can be found here, widely as well as submitting your own photo.

As we all already know, tackling the challenge of AMR requires a step change in global citizen awareness and through this project, the Fleming Initiative hope to build a shared sense of motivation and urgency around the AMR crisis, while perhaps helping people learn about AMR for the first time and how their individual behaviours and choices can be part of the solution.
